Mountboard
Mountboard is used for the preservation and the presentation of your work, it enhances the art and creates a gap between the piece to be framed and the glass. Our range of conservation mountboards are all acid free, we have a comprehensive choice of colours whilst being fade, bleed and age resistant.
Glass
There are many different glass and perspex options available when glazing frames. It divides into products that offer protection from harmful ultra violet rays (artificial and natural) and those that offer clear viewing. Colour fading is by far the most common damage that occurs and it cannot be repaired. By using glazing with a UV filter it is possible to block out over 95% of UV radiation, thus preserving family heirlooms and ensuring investments retain their value. |
